Games of the Week (21st May-27th May)

Guild Wars
So when I used to play Guild Wars I considered Saul’s mission to be the hardest but now it seems to be the easiest. Anyway at the least I geared my heroes with weapons. I worked my way through Nightfall, I still need to do two missions for the protector title but legendary guardian isn’t a priority. I didn’t realise that Hunted only unlocked the proffession changer for Elonian characters, so I ended up staying a secondary Ranger until after killing Abbadon where I went and did uptil the Nahpui quarter and unlocked the secondary proffessions. I still haven’t done my attribute point quests so I guess I should make them a priority. It took forever this week to get enough skree wings but I did manage to sell all my gift of the traveler, now I’m upto 62 ectos, maybe the obsidian armour won’t be the great uphill struggle I always thought it would be.

Games of the Week (14th May-20th May)

Guild Wars
Having spent most of my gaming time this week grinding out the same two bandits I now have a fancy new title to show off – Legendary Defender of Ascalon! Following this I promptly left the Pre-Searing and started making my way to Kryta, currently I just finished Borlis Pass. I did a couple of Zaishen missions last week in order to buy myself an elite mesmer skill tome, I chose Panic given that it’s right at the end of  prophecies and should be pretty useful. Sadly I didn’t improve my HoM score – I need 1 more title to do so, mostly likely it’ll be Legendary Survivor unless I go die soon. I farmed some gifts of the traveller to sell, so far sold two for ten ectos, still a long way to go on Obsidian armour but I’m optimistic given how quickly I managed to grind through LDoA. My current goal is to get to Lion’s Arch and then gather some heroes (and inevitably grind out some bonus mission weapons to use initially). It’s a shame the char weapons are so hideous given how it’s the easiest and quickest mission.

Games of the Week (7th May-13th May)

Guild Wars
Finally nostalgia got the better of me and I decided to pick Guild Wars up again after all these years. I started a new Mesmer and have set out to finally get the Legendary Defender of Ascalon, currently I’m at level 13 but am a single daily off  14, sadly it’s a few days until the farmer quest is up again but I might just plow through the grind of level 16 as it feels like it dragged worse doing level 13 through dailies than just grinding it. I like everyone else got a huge surprise when Guild Wars got a patch! Was filled with nice features, the game has never looked more beautiful. I’m going to aim for 50/50 in the hall of monuments, currently I am at 40/50 so I still have a way to go. I need four weapons, obsidian armour and lots of titles (including the pvp title), it might have been easier to just carry on with my Monk but I haven’t felt that I enjoyed playing him in probably almost a decade so maybe a new class will really help with my staying power.

Guild Wars 2
A couple of Maguuma Jungle zones map completion done. The main thing this week was the underwater patch which was great. I tried out Revenant again underwater and it was fun, also the new jackal skin makes me wonder in earnest if Cantha could possibly be coming sooner rather than later.

Dragon Quest VI (DS)
Still plodding away but I don’t feel like I achieved any major milestone in terms of bosses but I have just got a flying bed to travel with which is an interesting idea.

Games of the Week (30th April-6th May)

Guild Wars 2
Busy week, me and my friend completed our Astralaria collections, he’s crafted his where as I am a way off finishing mine, mostly mystic clovers and ley line crystals. I also completed the mastery achievements for both a bug in the system and one path ends which means I’ve completed all of the mastery achievements for season 3 and season 4 so far.

World of Warcraft
Not much done this week but my Mage finished one zone towards Kalimdor loremaster.

Dragon Quest VI (DS)
I picked this back up and managed to get a bit further. I’ve finally met Terry and defeated Jamirus in two very nostalgic moments even though I’ve never played DQVI before. Not sure how far I am through the game but I believe Jamirus is the second of four fiends so hopefully that means ~40%.
